Dana Blades, M.A. 
Pre-Doctoral Extern

Dana Blades is a pre-doctoral extern and third-year student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. where she is pursuing a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. She earned her B.S. in Psychology at The University of Delaware and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. While at the University of Delaware, she engaged in various community service opportunities and worked as a research assistant in a social neuroscience lab where she conducted research on feedback-related negativity amplitude in dyads and the role of stereotype threat and emotion contagion. Dana has clinical experience in private practice administering psychological assessments to children, adolescents, and adults and in an inpatient hospital setting volunteering at the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Currently, Dana conducts individual and group therapy with children and adolescents using a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach.
