Julie Brown is a licensed professional counselor and certified substance abuse counselor.  She earned her BA from Gettysburg College and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University.   She has provided outpatient mental health services settings to adults, adolescents and couples. Julie also has experience in a hospital and partial hospitalization level of care at Inova Hospital System providing group and individual counseling to adults struggling with mental health and substance use problems. Julie has been intensively trained in DBT and works with adults in our Comprehensive DBT program in individual and group settings.
